THE STORY

Chandler's passion for real estate was ignited by her father, a seasoned and highly successful real estate professional. During her time as a student at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, Chandler delved into the world of property management, working alongside her father. After graduating from the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business with a degree in business management, she took the next step by obtaining her real estate license in 2018. Chandler has since grown her expertise, becoming not only a licensed real estate broker but also a property manager.

Chandler wanted to start a short-term rental business and her latest venture, Smoky Hill Ranch, marks a significant milestone in Chandler's journey. This property, the first she both owns and manages, stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication and hard work. As a host, Chandler takes immense pride in curating spaces that truly evoke a sense of belonging for her guests.

The Core Values

  • Hospitality & Guest Satisfaction:

Providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction. This includes offering clean and well-maintained properties, prompt communication, and excellent customer service throughout the guest's stay. Making guests feel welcome and valued is essential to building a positive reputation and attracting repeat business.

  • Transparency & Honesty:

Transparency and honesty are crucial core values in the short-term rental industry. This involves accurately representing rental properties in listings, disclosing any potential issues or limitations, and being transparent about pricing, fees, and cancellation policies. Being forthright with guests helps build trust and credibility.

  • Community & Local Engagement:

Short-term rental businesses often operate within local communities. Having a core value of community engagement means respecting the neighborhood and being a responsible member of the community. This may involve adhering to local regulations and even giving back to the community through initiatives like supporting local businesses.

  • Safety & Security:

Ensuring the safety and security of both guests and properties is of utmost importance. Short-term rental businesses should prioritize the safety of their guests by implementing safety features, providing emergency contact information, and adhering to safety regulations. Security measures, both physical (e.g., locks and alarms) and digital (e.g., data protection), should also be a core value to protect both guests and property owners.
